Parents Want An Ontario High School Principal Fired For Listening To Heavy Metal That Shows Her 'Allegiance To Satanic Practices' But She Is Getting A Ton Of Support From Her Students - 6ixBuzz

A St. Catherines high school principal’s choice in music has got her in some hot water with some of the parents of her students.

More specifically, a bunch of parents got together to start a petition to have the principal, Sharon Burns, removed after she posted a photo of herself on social media that showed how much of a fan of the metal band “Iron Maiden’ she is.

The petition, which is now closed, was called ‘Eden High School Principal, Sharon Burns, Needs To Be Transferred Immediately!’

Change.org

The petition was posted on Change.org by Debbi Lynn, a woman who claims to be a parent of one of Eden High Schools’ students. In a message on the petition Lynn wrote:

“As concerned parents with impressionable children at Eden High School in St. Catharines, Ontario, we are deeply disturbed that the principal assigned to the school blatantly showed Satanic symbols and her allegiance to Satanic practices on her public social media platforms where all the students can see them… As parents we are demanding her transfer to another school.”

Apparently, Principal Sharon Burns doesn’t attempt to hide her [musical] tastes and even says that she is ‘fueled by metal & ska. & chickens.’

Obviously, its pretty over the top that parents tried to get rid of a principal for the music she listens to, especially since Eden High School is a public school. Thankfully, Burns has gotten a ton of support from a counter-petition made on Change.org called ‘We need Mrs. Burns.‘ which has over 20,000 signatures at the time of writing.
