There's a new leader at an Iroquois Falls high school.
Daniel Dubé has been appointed as the principal at École secondaire publique l'Alliance. He replaces Roch Mageau, who took the principal position at École secondiar publique Renaissance in Timmins in November.
"Mr. Dubé has shown leadership that facilitates the creation of good relationships with the people around him, and he will be able to foster a school climate that focuses on the well-being and success of students and staff," said Yves Laliberté, Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) director of education, in a news release.
Dubé has been part of the team at the Iroquois Falls school for more than 10 years.
He is from Iroquois Falls and graduated from the school. He's active in the school community and understands the importance of the Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières partnership, says the school board.
