By Hemant Sharma: A clash broke out between the principal and a few students of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Morena hostel over aloo ki sabzi (potato curry), authorities said on Thursday (July 20). The incident took place near National Highway 44, in the Jaderua area of Madhya Pradesh.
As per authorities, a student named, Mohak, along with his peers, approached the ITI hostel's principal, GS Solanki, complaining that they were only being served potato curry and not the menu as mentioned.

The students had previously submitted an application regarding the matter, but the principal allegedly ignored it. This led to a heated verbal argument between the principal and Mohak.

The principal apparently pulled Mohak’s hand after which a physical assault took place. Other students present at the scene were seen trying to stop the clash.
In cognisance with the incident, the students lodged a complaint with the Morena Collector Ankit Asthana, who delegated Tehsildar Kuldeep Dubey to address the issue.
According to Tehsildar Dubey, he visited the hostel and resolved the matter by instructing the authorities to prepare food as per the menu.

“I also directed the hostel authorities to improve the cleanliness and hygiene standards,” added Dubey.
Morena Additional District Magistrate Narottam Prasad Bhargava told India Today, “A committee has been formed to investigate the incident. Further actions will be taken based on the report submitted by the investigating team.”
