Natalie Bittner appointed new principal of Holy Cross Secondary School in Peterborough - Hamilton Spectator

Natalie Bittner will become the new principal of Holy Cross Secondary School in Peterborough at the start of new school year under appointments and transfers approved this week by the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board.

Bittner, currently principal of St. Paul School in Peterborough, replaces Sherry Davis, a longtime Peterborough high school principal who has previously served as St. Peter Secondary School principal. Davis is retiring effective June 30.

Christine Brodie, currently principal at St. Anne School, will replace Bittner as St. Paul principal and will be replaced at St. Anne by Melanie Bergeron-Langlois, who is currently vice-principal at St. Catherine School.

Krista McEwen, currently vice-principal at Holy Family School in Bowmanville, will replace Bergeron-Langlois as St. Catherine vice-principal.

Other appointments that go into effect Aug. 31 include:

• Jennifer Fisher transferred to principal at St. Martin School, Ennismore from principal at St. Patrick School, Peterborough

• Jennifer DeMaeyer transferred to principal at St. Paul School, Lakefield from principal at St. Martin School, Ennismore

• Lisa Gemmitti-Folz transferred to principal at St. Patrick School, Peterborough from principal at St. Paul School, Lakefield

• Bridget McCann-Girard transferred to principal of continuing education from principal at St. Thomas Aquinas Virtual School

• Frank Bradica transferred to principal of information technology from principal at Good Shepherd School, Courtice

• Laura Di Ianni transferred to vice-principal at Holy Trinity School, Courtice from vice-principal of special education

• Jillian Coulis transferred to vice-principal at St. Mary School, Cobourg from vice-principal at St. Peter Secondary School, Peterborough

• Adam White appointed vice-principal at Monsignor O’Donoghue School, Peterborough from teacher/consultant

• Karen Spenceley appointed vice-principal of special education from teacher
