Ames will be taking over the role from current Canyon School Principal, Paul Pichurski, who will be the principal of Crowsnest Consolidated High School for the 2022-2023 school year.
Although Pichurski is looking forward to his new role, he values the relationships he has developed and the learning experiences he has had since becoming Canyon School’s principal in 2017.
“I have appreciated my time working with the Canyon School community over the last five years,” Pichurski said.
“I also look forward to returning to Crowsnest Consolidated High School and for a new opportunity to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with students, families, staff, and community to support student learning and school improvement.”
