BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another alleged incident of Anti-Semitism is being investigated by the Palm Beach County School District.
This time, Olympic Heights High School is the scene of the graffiti you see in the photo above. It was found on Wednesday, according to sources reporting to BocaNewsNow.com. Its discovery led to the following message being sent to parents by Olympic Heights Principal Kelly Burke:
“Administration was made aware today of antisemitic and other highly inappropriate graffiti located in a student restroom on our campus. School Police are currently investigating, trying to determine the source of this vulgar display, scribbled on a wall. The District will address the individual once identified. The District takes a strict stance regarding combating antisemitic activity and is committed to educating our students regarding this horrific watershed event in history.
By imparting students with a deeper understanding of the ramifications of prejudice, intolerance, and stereotyping, we can combat antisemitism, discrimination, and bigotry.
Our District makes available a wide range of grade level appropriate resources, lectures and interactive lessons that address the unmistakable gravity of intolerance and discrimination, and will continue to promote a campus that embraces our diversities and challenge all forms of prejudice. As always, please reach out to the school with any questions or concerns, and thank you for your continued support of Olympic Heights Community.”
The graffiti follows another incident reported first by BocaNewsNow.com. Students identified as part of the Olympic Heights community were videotaped in Nazi uniforms and saluting a “fake” Adolph Hitler. That, too, led to a message from the principal. View the video here.
The Palm Beach County School Board received national attention last year when it officially fired the former principal of Spanish River High School. He told a parent, concerned over minimal Holocaust education, that it wasn’t for him to decide whether the Holocaust happened or not.
