The local Catholic school board has released a list of staffing changes for the 2021-22 school year.
The changes primarily affect schools in the Northumberland area save for one teacher in Lindsay who has been appointed to acting vice-principal in Bowmanville.
The following is the list of Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board staffing changes:
Principal Transfers
• Guy Charette: Transferred principal to St. Elizabeth CES, Bowmanville from principal at St. Michael CES & St. Joseph CES, Cobourg. Effective Oct. 25, 2021.
• Rob Citro: Transferred principal to Notre Dame CES and St. Joseph CES, Cobourg from principal at Notre Dame CES. Effective Oct. 25, 2021.
Principal Appointments
• Nicole Simpson: Appointed acting principal to St. Michael CES, Cobourg from vice-principal at St. Mary CSS, Cobourg. Effective Oct. 25, 2021.
Vice-Principal Appointments
• Joanne McDermott: Appointed acting vice-principal to St. Joseph CES, Bowmanville from teacher at St. Dominic CES, Lindsay. Effective Nov. 1, 2021.
• Curtis Chornie: Appointed acting vice-principal to St. Mary CSS, Cobourg from teacher, St. Mary CSS, Cobourg. Effective Oct. 25, 2021.

Joe Kennedy, acting principal at Monsignor Leo Cleary CES, Courtice effective Nov. 8, 2021 until further notice.
