Principals leave Chippewa, West Ferris - The North Bay Nugget

Two well-known North Bay high school principals are no longer employed with the Near North District School Board, The Nugget has learned.

Andy Gagne, principal at West Ferris Intermediate and Secondary School and Julie Beaudoin, principal at Chippewa Secondary School, have resigned their positions.

A letter sent to school staff by the Near North District School Board states the board has accepted their Dec. 31 resignations.

The letter also states Thursday was their final day at work.

Gagne and Beaudoin each have more than two decades of experience, which includes 15 years in administration.

Gagne and Beaudoin were not available for comment.
