Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools has appointed Kimberley Walker as the new Assistant Principal at St. Joesph Catholic High School.

Walker has been teaching for nearly 20 years and started her career teaching at St. Joseph.

In the past, she has completed a Bachelor of Science and Education from the University of Lethbridge, earning a major in biology, geography, kinesiology and science education. She also holds a diploma in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University.

Throughout her teaching career, which has seen her teach at both St. Joe’s and St. John Paul II schools, she has dedicated countless hours of volunteering at various school faith events and activities, according to GPCSD.
