West Central Middle/High School has a new assistant principal. Michelle Miller was hired for the position, according to draft minutes from Thursday’s school board meeting. Miller replaces Angie Radtke, who was promoted to principal last month.
The draft minutes also say that West Central teacher Sarah Willis, also known as Kate DeMaat, had her teaching contract canceled by the school board. She was reportedly notified of the superintendent’s preliminary decision last month and opted not to request a conference with him to appeal it. West Central is working to “right-size its staffing levels” to match enrollment.
